PullThisCard is a credit card optimization tool that tells you which card in your wallet to use for any purchase, in real time. You search a merchant, the engine identifies the spending category, evaluates every card in your wallet across five factors simultaneously (earn rate, point value, portfolio pooling, merchant bonuses, and goal alignment), and returns the single best card to use, with a transparent explanation of why.
It is not a card comparison site. It is not a static rate table. It is a recommendation engine that runs live against your wallet, for the specific transaction you're about to make.
The core recommendation engine is fully complete and in production. The tool is currently in a controlled beta launch phase: collecting user feedback, verifying card data at scale, and building the distribution channels described below before a broader public launch.
PullThisCard is built for people who already have multiple rewards cards and want to use them more effectively, not for people deciding which card to get first. This is a meaningful distinction for affiliate partners:

The core use case is visually compelling and fast: open the app, search a store, get a card recommendation in under 5 seconds. "I use 4 credit cards: here's how I always pick the right one" is a repeatable format with high virality potential in personal finance communities. Content showing real-time card comparisons at Costco, Starbucks, and grocery stores demonstrates value immediately without explanation.
Launch posts targeting r/CreditCards (4.5M members), r/churning (400K members), r/PersonalFinanceCanada (900K members), and niche points forums. These communities explicitly ask for calculator alternatives to complex spreadsheets. PullThisCard answers the most common question asked in those subs ("which card should I use at X?") as a standalone tool. Community launch generates first-mover trust and organic link building from the highest-intent audience in personal finance.
PullThisCard is a Progressive Web App, installable directly on iOS and Android home screens without an app store. This creates an app-like presence with zero distribution fee, direct push-notification capability (future), and home-screen placement next to payment apps (the optimal location for a card recommendation tool). The install flow is built and working in production.
Each card in our database will have an indexed static page (e.g. /cards/chase-sapphire-preferred) optimized for queries like "Chase Sapphire Preferred earn rates" and "best card for groceries Canada." 80 indexable pages without requiring blog content, each earning organic traffic from high-intent card research queries. These pages also function as the affiliate conversion endpoint for each card.
Canadian credit card affiliate programs are less competitive than the US market, and our Canadian card database (21 cards, fully dated and verified) is unique; no equivalent tool exists for Canadian cardholders. We are prioritizing Canadian affiliate network approvals first to establish a monetization baseline before scaling the US side.

The tool is fully built and in production at pullthiscard.com. The core recommendation engine has more than 190 recommendation-engine tests covering 139 US and Canadian cards. It operates as a Progressive Web App, installable on iOS and Android home screens.
Our affiliate promotion model is intent-driven and in-context: when a user's wallet doesn't contain the highest-earning card for a specific merchant, the tool surfaces a suggestion with an Apply Now link. This recommendation fires at the exact moment a user is making a purchasing decision. That is the highest-intent conversion moment in the customer journey. Our primary distribution channels are short-form video content (TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels) demonstrating real-time card comparisons, community launches in r/CreditCards and r/churning (combined 5M+ members), and SEO via static card pages targeting high-intent card research queries.
